Dr Aakriti Gupta | MBBS, IFAAD, FACD
Dr Aakriti Gupta is a Medical, Laser & Cosmetic Dermatologist based in Adelaide
She graduated from the University of Adelaide with the University Medal for the highest overall performance in Medicine, before undertaking specialist Dermatology training in Adelaide and a Travelling Fellowship year in Oxford, UK. After achieving Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, she completed subspecialty training in laser and cosmetic dermatology at leading Melbourne institutions, the Dermatology Institute of Victoria and Laser Dermatology.
Dr Gupta has co-authored book chapters on the use of botulinum toxin in dermatology and aesthetic facial assessment, and continues to chair and present at conferences on cosmetic dermatology. Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and she has received awards from the Royal Society of Medicine and the British Society for Medical Dermatology for her research presentations.
Dr Gupta is a Board Member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic and Procedural Dermatologists (ASCPD) and Associate Editor of the ASCPD journal, Opinions & Progress in Cosmetic Dermatology. She is also on the national expert team for 'All About Acne' and a Visiting Medical Specialist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where she teaches and mentors dermatology trainees.
Dr Gupta takes pride in bringing the latest evidence-based medicine into the clinic. Drawing on her extensive background in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, she enjoys developing tailored solutions for her patients.
